Humans cannot survive bee extinction

Bees. In all probability most people think of the worst when they hear bees being mentioned considering bees do sting and even injure sometimes. Even so, what many don’t understand is that bees play a very significant role in human survival. Not long ago, scientist discovered the enormous decreasing population of honeybees.

According to an article by Joachim Haqopian, in Minnesota, Montana, The Dakotas, Florida, California, Iowa, The Northern Plains and Midwestern states beekeepers have noticed their honeybee population dying off at increasingly swift rates.

Albert Einstein once said, “Mankind will not survive the honeybees’ disappearance for more than five years.” No other animal species help produce the fruits and vegetables humans depend on to maintain good health. The British Beekeepers Association was founded in 1874, they are fighting to preserve the lives of honey bees, teaching the importance of  bees in the environment. This  phenomenon will determine the survival of human species.

I am proud student attending Atlantic Community School. I enjoy reading romance novels and writing about literally anything. I am absolutely fascinated with stuffed animals, my favorite stuffed animal I have so far is a bunny. His name is Latty. I love listening to music and doing homework at the same time it helps me get it done quickly. I truly believe Atlantic High has a lot to offer and I appreciate all the great opportunities handed to me. All teachers should be smiled upon for the wonderful work they accomplish.
